I served four years in the Marine Corps as a Motor Vehicle Operator (3531), and then was selected to go to the advanced school and became a Vehicle Recovery Operator (3536). I am hard working, focused on getting the job done right, detail oriented, and am a fast learner. I prefer to ask questions when I am unsure of something to make sure the task is done how it's supposed to be. I am a perfectionist and take great pride in my work and will stand by what I have done. While serving as a Recovery Operator, I assisted units in moving cargo and recovering vehicles whether broke down or stuck. For roughly the last 3 years I have worked as a farmhand, running equipment (tractors, backhoe, skidsteer) in different field operations. I am looking to further my experience in equipment operation to be the best I can be and to pass on experience when I am able to.

    Duties Description:

    Primary MOS was a 3531. I operated mostly MTVR's for the transportation of equipment and personnel. I received licenses while in to haul fuel, explosives, trailers, and the JLTV. I performed Preventative Maintenance on equipment and eventually was named "Line NCO" of my platoon as a Lance Corporal, where I was in charge of the operability of over 40 trucks and trailers. I was then selected to attend the Vehicle Recovery Course where I received the Vehicle Recovery Operator license. I then became a Annual Condition Inspector for the cranes that were mounted on the wreckers. After some time, I became the "Wrecker Chief" where I was in charge of the personell, trucks, trailers, and equipment in the wrecker section.

    Role Description:

    Operated various pieces of equipment such as tractors, backhoe's, and skidsteers for different tasks. Driven semi's to haul grain from the field to the bin and then from the bin to corporate grain elevators. I have washed, waxed, and detailed all pieces of equipment to keep the cleanliness of the machiens in tact. I have performed and assisted in the maintenance of equipment, such as changing fluids, tires, and numerous parts.

    Role Description:

    I have worked as a volunteer fire fighter for the last three and a half years. I have responded to many emergency calls involving wrecks, fires, and medical emergencies. I am a interior fire fighter which means that I am one of the few in the county trained to conduct interior fire fighting of structures. I am also licensed as an Emergency Medical Responder by the state of Illinois, and am certified in CPR by the American Heart Association.

    Role Description:

    As a material handler I operated a forklift to move finished products from the machines to the staging area for shipment and moved raw matierals to the machines when they ran out. While not moving matierals around with the forklift I would consistently check and move the boxes with finished goods out and replace with an empty box to ensure productivity stayed high. During down time I would do houskeeping of my work area to ensure cleanliness and reduce the risk of accidents.
