Work Experience:
I graduated from Luxenberg-Casco High School in 2013 in that same year I enlisted in the US Marine corps. While I was in the Marines my MOS was 0341 “Mortarman”. Starting in 2016 I was a team leader on a 60mm Mortar, and remained in that position until the end of my service in Oct of 2017.
After my EAS (End of Active Service) I took several months off to help care for a sick family member then, I started working at Metal Craft Mint. While at Metal Craft Mint I worked as a press operator where I was expected to operate the press that punched out coins from sheet metal and prepare the product for other press operators. I was required to change the die on the press, depending on the order and have accurate counts of the product and size of the press.
I currently work at Green Bay Correctional where I am expected to maintain accurate counts of the people in my care and I am responsible for their general welfare. I am also responsible to care for any state property in my place of work. Although I am not normally in a leadership role I have been entrusted in leadership roles where I am expected to keep accurate log entries and monitor not only myself but 3-6 other Correctional officers. I have been at GBCI for 7 years now.
