Hello my name is John Cabral. I am a motivated individual that has a strong interest in continuing a life long carrer as an electrician. I was an electricians mate in the navy from November 2019 till november of 2024 and I served on an arleigh burke-class destroyer (USS Halsey DDG97). I have sucessfully completed basic engineering classes and electricians mate A school before I got stationed on my ship and, I have countless hours of hands on training ranging from power generation, power distribution, lighting, motor controllers and much more. I separated from the navy as an E-5 petty officer second class. I even completed an apprenticeship through the United States Military Apprenticeship Program that was through the navy and consists of 6000 logged and approved hours. I would consider myself a valuable asset because I am always eager to learn new things in the field, passing down knowledge to my subordinates and, my strong work ethic to complete tasks the right way the first time.
