Hey, I’m Mason Partlow. I’m currently finishing up the electrical technology program at
Perry Technical Institute with about six months to go. I’ve worked with several
contractors and gained solid experience on a variety of residential and commercial job
sites. I’m motivated, quick to learn, and focused on solving problems and making sure
the work gets done right. I take pride in doing clean, safe work and being someone the
team can count on. I’m dependable, always ready for a challenge, and committed to
growing in the trade. I’m currently working toward my journeyman certification and
looking ahead to taking on more responsibility, building my skills, and eventually
stepping into leadership roles. I’m serious about the work and ready to keep moving
forward in the electrical field.

    Duties Description:
    The mortarmen is responsible for the tactical employment of the 60mm light mortar and the 81mm medium mortar. Mortarmen provide indirect fire in support of the rifle and LAR squads/platoons/companies and the infantry and LAR battalions. They are located in the weapons platoons of the rifle and LAR companies and the weapons company of the infantry battalion. Noncommissioned officers are assigned as mortar gunners, forward observers, fire direction plotters, and squad and section leaders.
