Duties Description:As a U.S. Army Combat Medic Specialist, I was responsible for providing emergency medical and trauma care, including triage, first aid, hemorrhage control, CPR, IV therapy, and coordinating medical evacuations. I maintained medical equipment and supplies for a platoon-sized element and led preventive medicine and combat lifesaver training. I documented patient care, maintained medical readiness, and operated tactical vehicles and communications equipment in fast-paced, high-stress environments. This role built my strengths in job-site safety, calm decision-making under pressure, teamwork, accountability, and working efficiently in demanding physical conditions.
