Work Experience:

My name is Oscar Dukes, and I am a disciplined, hardworking professional with a strong foundation in heavy equipment operation, mechanical systems, and safety compliance. After honorably serving 11 years in the United States Marine Corps as an Engineer Equipment Operator, I transitioned into the civilian workforce as a Crane Operator with Maxim Crane Works in Nashville, TN. I hold a Class A CDL, OSHA 10, OSHA 30, and NCCCO Crane Certifications, demonstrating my commitment to safety and professional development. While my career in crane operation has been rewarding, my long term goal is to channel my technical aptitude and hands on experience into a more specialized trade as a member of the International Union of Elevator Constructors. I am confident that the precision, mechanical awareness, and strong work ethic I developed through military service and years of union work make me an outstanding candidate for the IUEC apprenticeship program.
