Rufino Escobar

My name is Rufino Escobar. I proudly served in the Marine Corps Reserves for eight years, completing my contract in 2020. Growing up on a farm instilled in me a strong work ethic — my father and I handled every project ourselves, from repairs to construction. This hands-on upbringing taught me perseverance, problem-solving, and the value of hard work. After my military service, I attended the electrician’s program at Summit College, where I graduated at the top of my class. This experience deepened my passion for the electrical field and solidified my desire to pursue it as a lifelong career. I am now eager to further my education, expand my technical knowledge, and take the next steps toward becoming a licensed electrician. My goal is to secure a stable and meaningful career that allows me to plant roots in my community, grow professionally, and eventually mentor others entering the trade. I am ready to dedicate myself to learning, improving, and contributing to the field of electrical work for years to come.
