I am writing to express my interest in operating engineer opportunities with your company. I bring

several years of hands-on experience running heavy equipment on active job sites, including

concrete pump trucks, excavators, skid steers, and tractor-trailers, along with a safety-first

approach shaped by working around live roadways and busy construction sites.

I hold a Class A CDL with Hazmat, Tanker, and Doubles/Triples endorsements, an active TWIC

card, and OSHA 10 certifications in both construction and general industry safety. My background

includes heavy equipment hauling, concrete mixer and pump truck operation, and over-the-road

driving. I am comfortable traveling to job sites as the work requires.

I have worked directly in highway construction and traffic control, maintaining DOT compliance,

driver logs, and pre/post-trip inspections. That experience taught me to stay aware of my

surroundings, communicate clearly with the crew, and keep equipment and people safe.

I am analytical and resourceful, and I weigh the relevant factors carefully before acting. I have

spent over ten years in sales and supervisory roles, where I was responsible for both performance

and the safety and wellbeing of the people I worked with. As a certified Master Diver since 2002, I

also bring a high standard of preparation, equipment checks, and discipline to everything I do.
