Founded in 1891, Plumbers and Steamfitters Local 33 has grown to almost 2000 members in 2024, with over 450 apprentices getting paid while they learn a trade/ career that will empower them to earn the life they desire. Local 33 has a jurisdiction that covers 60 counties in central Iowa, into Nebraska, and South Dakota; we also have members who travel outside of our jurisdiction.
